The Children's Society work with some of the most vulnerable children and young people in our country. During the first week of September, they raise awareness of their work through Bake and Brew events. It's a great chance to hear what the Children's Society does, raise funds for it - and TO HAVE FUN!

You might try:

• Selling cakes after church on Sunday
• Having a ‘back to school’/starting school tea/coffee morning for parents
• Messy Church activities
• Parent & toddler groups
• Hold a competition (minimum entry fee, selling the results, offering a small prize) for the most colourful/inventive/surprising/yummy/bake
