This is a UK Government funded programme, not specifically Christian (though some of the opportunities are offered in collaboration with Tear Fund). It doesn't require qualifications or a huge amount of up-front money in order to allow as many young people as possible to have the opportunity to take part. There are placements in over 20 countries, from Bangladesh to Zimbabwe

You need to:

• Be a UK, EU or EEA citizen with a current UK address
• Have lived in the UK for at least the last 12 months
• Be aged 18-25 years old when you go overseas (23-35 for Team Leaders)
• Commit to fundraising at least £800
• Commit to 10-12 weeks overseas
